Noticed recently that there are quite a number of sellers who named their jewelry after a person's name. Sometimes there is a correlation between the product and its name but sometimes it doesn't or not explained. Do you think it's more personal to own a piece of jewelry with a name? Does it add to its personality?
I recently just named my very first pair of earrings... Her name is Alice.
Here.. come and meet my other friends, Sophie, Amy and Carrie.... :)

I definitely think a name on a piece of jewelry or collection adds a touch of character and it allows for a subtle connection between the artist and his/her client. ;)
i like the names... it makes the jewelry seem more personal and cuter for some reason. ;)
Names add a touch of cool. Hmm, maybe I could name my quilts. : )
I love the earrings my tamar!
Hope you'll stop by and follow my blog!

It's difficult to come up with unique names for every item but giving them real names gives you an endless inventory of ideas. Great idea.
Ooh I love Amy!! I give all my pieces unique names, but never people names. I worry that if someone has a negative association with a certain name, it might turn them off an item? I don't know how often that would happen, and I definitely wouldn't do that personally, but I wonder.
A lot of businesses do that. There is a "christie" pant and Victorias Secret, and a girl that I went to school with did an intership at roxy and all thier clothes were "named" too. I think names are fun, but I don't think it makes the item more personal.
How lovely...just found your blog and your work is amazing..I adore the pretty light blue earrings...off to check out your shop. I adore that you named your pieces!
Your blog is just lovely - I like the concept of promoting others...I also love that damask background you're using. LOL
