I was shopping with my poly friends yesterday.. We went to CK Tangs as my friend would like to buy a pair of earrings that she has her eye on. On our way there, she asked me how come I don't make any Asymmetrical earrings. My reply was I did but it seems like most people don't like asymmetrical earrings as I didn't manage to sell any.. so I decided to stick to symmetrical ones.
But I wonder if that is REALLY true... thus I decided to have a poll on my blog.. The poll question is, do you prefer symmetrical or asymmetrical earrings? If you were to buy a pair of earrings for yourself or a friend, would you get a symmetrical one or an asymmetrical one?

Most of mine are symmetrical, however I have now bought some that are asymmetrical and really like them. I don't always believe in "staying in the box"

i took your poll but I'm definitely asymmetrical - if I wear two of the same earrings, they're on one ear and something else is on the other ear.
For myself, I'd definitely buy asymmetrical earrings, so that's my vote. For a gift thoguh, it would depend on the recipient.

This is a great poll and I'm excited to hear the answer...I'm wondering what people respond to about necklaces? I would by asymetrical ones only if they were extremely cool and perfect for me. I bought an asymetrical necklace that I LOVE but haven't worn it much since I have to have the perfect outfit for it. I have attempted to create some asymetrical things myself but it is extremely difficult for me (i have an engineering background). I'll be keeping an eye on this poll!

I think symmetrical ones look more appealing. More balanced.
While I've seen some very cool asymmetrical ones, all of mine are symmetrical, so I guess that's my choice!

Don't worry, I'm sure you won't need tissue paper to watch the Twilight. It is not suppose to be a sad story (at least not in part 1).

I am a huge fan of asymmetrical designs in jewelry.
Ummm.. I am sorry.
But, I have to say I love both. One day I love this, the other day I love that. So, for me it doesn't really matter. I rather care if those are really my style.

I voted asymmetrical. Looking at my earring collection, most are symmetrical, but my favourite pairs are always the asymmetrical ones. I just think they have more character.

My best friend adores asymetrical earrings so when it comes to gift giving, I have a very difficult time finding them because there just aren't a lot of them out there! Personally, I like both, but I'm allergic to everything, including all grades of gold, silver, stainless steel etc,.... It would really be nice to find someone out there who makes fabulous asymetrical earrings!
