Here's what I love best.

  1. Say it with Flowers necklace (by itself)
  2. Say it with Flowers necklace (with flowers!)
  3. Sharpening necklace - blue
  4. Sharpening necklace - red (my fav!)

What's In Your Shopping Bag? (August 09)

I was introduced this little cute thing from my friends recently. They are the most brilliant invention to date.

Do you always have the problem of keeping your fringe / hair out of your face when washing it or putting on makeup? What do you use? Headband? or Just tie your hair up?

Now... Try this... Dariya Hair Magic Sheets. It is a little sheet with micro hooks (looks like Velcro) that sticks to your hair and prevents them from falling! How cool is that! Every pack comes in 2 pieces and there are 3 colors to choose from. There are pink, black & blue. I was really tempted to buy the black ones bute my friends discourage me from it cos they have experienced where they walk out of the house with those patches on without knowing!.. lol! :)

It's $7.00 from my local shop. If you would like to try and cannot get any near where you are.. Convo me :)

Etsy Finds - I am included again!!

I am so so honored again to be included in the Etsy Finds this weekend! The topic this weekend deals is Jewelry Fit for Spring. I hope this will give my shop some boost like the last time :D *fingers crossed*

My little owl was featured this time round. It's the last piece that I have in my shop. I managed to find these babies during one of my travels. I love it because it moves with little flapping wings :) It's really hard to find sterling silver charms locally especially unique ones. Owls have been very popular these months or even last year... I am not sure why.. but I have seen quite a number of listing on owls. They appear on t-shirts, jewelry, pouches, everything and anything....

Do you loves owls? Anyway, while typing up this post, I found out that my owl is SOLD! :) Hurray.. Really made my day! I hope everyone have a great weekend...

Oops.. did I mention that I am away next week? I am off to Tokyo for work again.. this time it's for 4 days.. :) Hopefully it's more fun this time round as I have switched to a hotel that is nearer to the train station. Hopefully I get to do more exploring than work as compared to the last time :) Will share photos when I am back!

Etsy Finds - Amazing Way of Promoting Your Shop

I just had the most amazing weekend... I participated in the weekend deals posted in the forums by Mary (Etsy admin) this weekend and I was VERY BLESSED to be picked as one of the sellers. My item was featured on the Etsy finds email that was sent out and the response was just OVERWHELMING. I have not gotten so much orders in my 2 years with Etsy! It's just amazing. I actually came home about 12 midnight and worked on my orders till 5am in the morning! :)

I am a tired but happy worker...

I felt that this is definitely one step forward towards my goal of doing my own business and working from home :) (although my hubby disagree.. keke)

Here's the Etsy Find article for anyone who has missed it...

Thursday Finds

Had fun browsing the Etsy shops today.. and look what I found!!
Found 2 awesome pieces to be added to my "Wish List" for Christmas.

The first piece is this beautiful purple jasper bracelet, "Purple People Eater Bracelet" by jadescott. What a cute name. Reminds me of that song by Sheb Wooley! I love jadescott's jewelry and her photos. The consistent lime green background is her trademark and allows people to recognise her pieces easily.

The second piece is these flower stack rings by foundling! I am into stack rings these days and I have been playing with the idea of making some.. Anyways, these stack rings are so pretty & vintage looking with those beautiful enamel flowers! Foundling's photos have very interesting backgrounds as well. She uses books with words which again makes her photos consistent and easily recognizable.

2 Great pieces by 2 wonderful artists!
