{ HEARTED } My Favorites for the week

I have been really busy at work this week, fell sick on Thursday with a really bad migraine / headache. I thought it might be due to the way I sleep (flat pillow) but I think it might be due to a lack of sleep. I work in a bank during the day and after work, I come back and work on my Etsy shop. It has been a great week at the shop with the Black Friday and coming Cyber Monday. Still I managed to pick out some of the items that I adore this week.

"I totally love this print. It reminded me about the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and Alice would be the one next to him. This would be a plausible reason with the Syfy's version of Alice. I love the animals engaging with humans as equal, very surreal."

Felted Soap Red Flower with White Bunny by SoFino
" I love the red and white contrast in the soap. I have not used a felted soap before. In the Asia, people tend to use liquid soaps more as compared to bar soaps. I think it is more convenient. When I was studying in Australia, I tried using bar soaps as there are alot more variety (esp the essential oil ones) as compared to the liquid soaps."

Tagged!! - 10 of my Favorite Things

I was tagged by Nicole sometime ago to do a blog post about 10 of my Favorite things. So here goes, not in any order!

1. Macaroons - I simply LOVE LOVE them. So light & tasty treats. The really good ones are quite expensive in Singapore. Nevertheless, I can never control myself to get some every time I walk pass a Macaroons / Pastry shop. My favorite flavor is Hazelnuts!
   
   
2. Souffle - This is another French dessert that I simply must have if it is ever on the menu. I recall visiting a restaurant in Paris which specializes in Souffles. They have the savory ones which we do not get in Singapore.
   
   
3. Sex & the City - Even though the TV series has stopped running and the movie is out. I still love the show and somehow you never get tired of watching them over and over again. Even if it is just to check out the fashion, bags & shoes. :)
   
   
   
   
4. God - HE is my everything and without him, nothing around me would matter and anything is possible with Him by my side.
   
   
5. My Hubby & Family - He is my life partner and best friend. He makes me laugh & giggle like a little girl. We share everything (almost) and I thank #4 for making him mine. Family (mum, dad, in laws, siblings) is always something close to my heart.
   
   
6. Pigs - Love them since I was little. I think they are just adorable whether they are babies or adults. Thus my shop name I guess.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Moscato or Ice Wine - My favorite drink. I can drink this all night long...
   
   
8. Music - I am always humming a tune, whether I am walking along the street or having a shower. I love music of all genres but rock, alternative, punk, jazz, house & chill are some of my favorite.
   
   
9. My bed - The place that I spend at least 7 hours in. Got a nice king size one that is simply divine.
   
   
10. My Car - I don't owe a very fancy car (I drive a Toyota Altis) but I simply can't live without having one after driving for so many years. Even though Singapore is a small country. The convenience is something that I have gotten used to and taken for granted sometimes :P Although now I have to share it with my hubby.. kekek :)

Etsy Treasury - Palm Breezes

I am very honored to be featured in the following treasury - Palm Breezes that features a range of palm leaves inspired items! I love the beautiful range and the refreshing green color.

   These are absolutely beautiful. The colors and painting is so real that it looks like a real palm leaf. I think they are classy and chic to be used for a nice breezy Sunday brunch.

My Favorite - Smooth Teardrop Briolettes

One of my favorite jewelry pieces is smooth teardrop (full drop) briolettes of any gemstones. Most gemstones are often faceted so that they sparkle when light falls. It's really hard to find quality smooth pieces. I love the smooth pieces as compared to the faceted ones as they clear bring out the quality of the stones. I prefer the clear ones to the translucent ones E.g. citrine, lemon quartz, amethyst etc.

Here are some of my favorites on Etsy that I have been lusting for a while... Hope you love them too.

Treasury - Fly

I am honored again to be included in the following Treasury called Fly by outofthebox. The treasury features items with the theme fly.

   This is a beautiful necklace made from a real butterfly wing! How cool is that.. love the natural colors of the butterfly. Definitely a conversation starter. Item would be OOAK.

   Love love this cute panda.. It reminds me of me.. always sleepy and hungry. Even when it is flying it looks sleepy. If only I can fly to work with my sleepy eyes :D

   This is a OOAK piece from my watch necklace collection. It's cute and adorable and I only have one of it! It's not only functional but cute to look at too.
   
   
   

Treasury - The Bird that Chirped

What did I say about birds... they are EVERYWHERE... I am very honored to be included in another treasury and it's about BIRDS.. now what did I saw.. they are just so popular and definitely the next trend in line after the OWL frenzy. This treasury "The Bird that Chirped" is perfectly selected by tarunjain!

As usual, here's my favorites out of the selection...

1. Lovebird Bowl by PrinceDesignUK - I love birds and hearts! This item is a great combination of both. I think the red heart details on the wings and eye are just adorable & cute. Perfect present for a good friend! There are more designs in her shop too! :)
   
   
2. Modern Chick Bowls Orange Black white by shoshonasnow - I am into bowls.. and this one is so brightly colored (orange with black white stripes) with a cute chick head... Love the details at the bottom of the bowl as well. I can totally feel how much effort and love the crafter has put into this item.
   
   
   
3. Cute birds in Chains by ME! - This is my humble birds earrings.. available in big round ring hooks too :)
   

Etsy Treasury - Cat Lovers Paradise

I was really honored to be included in the following Etsy treasury West, Cat Lovers Paradise. This treasury like its title features a selection of cat items!

   - I think these earrings are so so cute! I love the little notes that are like the legs of the kitty. Simply cute & unique.

   - Jasper is so adorable and it's so tiny that it curls snugly in the bowl. How cute is that. Jasper seems to be concentrating while his picture is being taken. Love those eyes as well.

   - Last but not least my latest winking pussycat pandora watch pendant! I love the winking cat and her chi-chi rhinestone necklace! Very chic!
   
   

Snagged a Treasury - Plum Blossoms

I snagged a treasury! It's been a while but I am just at the right place at the right time :) The theme of my latest Treasury is Plum Blossoms. I am inspired by the coming of spring with all those flowers blooming and also cos I just came back from Japan :) I didn't want to do a cherry blossom one cos I think I have done that theme before.

Out of my selection, here's my favorite. It's this cute little bunny called Plum by Danielleorama. I love the striking rich purple color and the cute ears that are made from beautiful Japanese fabric with blossoms! The description of the listing is also really adorable. Little Plum loves all things Japanese and is currently studying Kanji (one component of the Japanese language whose characters are written the same way as Chinese ones).

Here's showcasing my Plum Blossom necklace which I included in the treasury above. The richness of the plum color Swarovski faceted crystal makes a beautiful focal piece with the cutest blossom at the side.

Treasury West - V E S P A

It's the first time snagging a treasury in Treasury West.. I was there just in time.. The title of my Treasury is VESPA. Basically a collection & selection of vespa / scooters in different medium on Etsy. Here's what the whole treasury looks like. I love vespas and I think they have this vintage feel and are very cute.. and looks easy to ride. (although I have not rode on one before).



In the collection showcase on my Treasury. The following 3 items are my favorites and caught my eye.

1) Vespa Card by AJKArtistry - The Vespa on this card looks so real and has a 3-D effect which makes it so cool and cute! The photo taken was also very clear as you can see the details on the Vespa.

2) Vespa Scrabble Tile pendant by WordDesigns40 - I love the black & white look of the pendant and really makes the vespa pop from the jet black background.

3) Sweet Vespa Necklace by ME - I love this Vespa charm as it is a solid one with details all round (front & back). By matching it with a dainty pink freshwater pearl, it brings out the femininity of the masculine vehicle.

Etsy Treasury - Time Flies

I got included in another treasury! Yoo Hoo! :) God is good and my fellow Etsians are so wonderful and amazing.

This interesting and cute treasury is named "Time Flies" by SassySashadoxie. It features a selection of timepieces and flies! How cute.

My Little Airplane Necklace was featured as part of this selection! It is a very cute airplane watch charm made into a necklace with a stunning red crystal heart. This is the only piece that I have.

Within this gorgeous treasury, I fell in love with the Crystal Fly Pin with Moving Wings by vonwalhofcreations. This pin is so pretty with the different cuts of crystals and cute with little moving wings on spring.

Etsy Treasury - All the Fun of the Fair

I am so lucky and honored to be included in the following treasury! The treasury is called "All the Fun of the Fair" by tinyminds. It is a selection of whimsical sights that you can see when you go to the fair.

My carousel necklace was included! I love love carousel, all the horses moving to the joyous music.

Out of the picks in the treasury, I found this print "Eunice" by amberalexander rather fun and cute! I have never seen a circus cat before.. But I thought it was a fun picture.

Look What I Found!! - Featured Etsy Seller

Stumbled upon this Etsy seller when I was just checking out the latest Showcase last week. Her name is Merissa Cherie Hi'ilani Revestir from Hawaii and a proud owner of loveMER. She is the eldest of 5 children (big family like mine!). She is married and has a plant named Curtis (how cute!) She got to know about Etsy from her sister who also have a shop on Etsy.

What caught my eye about her items s is that she uses the chain to create words which is really different and creative! I love the way she uses the different colors of paper as the background which makes her items really pretty & sweet.

Here's one of my favorite, HEART a-blush necklace. Such a sweet name.. Perfect for the coming Valentine's Day.

Snagged a Treasury - Red vs Black

I managed to snag a treasury AGAIN! This is so addictive and fun! And the theme of the treasury is "Red vs Black" sorry for the lack of imagination for the title but red and black are my favorite colors! In fact, they are the exact color theme that I used for my living room :)

Out of the my treasury picks, here's 2 that I absolutely adore.

1) Zippy Red Stuffed Guinea Pig Plushie Baby Size
I have always been a fan of Zygopsyche and her guinea pigs /rabbits plushies. They are simply adorable and cute! Here's Zippy the Red Guinea Pig.

2) Big Eyes - Be Mine card
I know.. i know.. this card can look a little bit creepy (like a stalker stalking you holding his heart) But it is this creepiness that makes this little card so interesting and eye catching. You would not have any problem getting the attention of the reader with this card. Something to think about for the coming Valentine's Day :)
