The start of the week always makes a Grumpy me. So I am always look around for things that would cheer me up. Like this Fat Tree necklace that I made!This necklace is inspired by Botero. Have you heard of him? He is one of my favorite artists and I always describe him as the painter who loves to paint fat people! :D Here's one of his works! Besides painting, he sculpts too. So you can see how ecstatic I went when I stumble upon the brass fat tree charm!! It's so cute in its own way! Just like me.. lol!
I first knew about Botero via an exhibition in Singapore. One look at his pictures and I fell in love with his colorful paintings and fat men & ladies... Even the fruits in his pictures are fat too!

Love the fat tree and the cute little babies :) I remembered running around town to take photos of the cute fat sculptures during the Botero exhibition :D
