Write a Love Letter with Yahoo!

I have been a Yahoo Mail user for a long time.  Even though there are times when I contemplated of switching providers, but Yahoo Mail continues to surprise me with new features.  The latest one is quite fun to play with. 

In celebration of Valentine's Day, Yahoo has introduced a small heart icon right next to the Compose button. By pressing it, you’ll get some holiday specific letters.

You can have Yahoo Mail auto compose you a message under three categories – “Crazy in Love,” “Friendly in Love,” and “All Out of Love.”

Depending on what you choose, Yahoo will compose an e-mail for you, which can lead to pretty hilarious messages.

While love messages will start with various endearments, those sent under the “Friendly in Love” category will start with phrases such as “Dearest pal” and “To my generous friend.”

Here are some examples of the love letters that Yahoo auto compose for you.

" Dear babycakes,
To know you is to love you. My lifelong goal will be to fulfill your every wish. When we are apart, I am lost without hope. You are my hero. My love-hero.
With tender loving care, XXX "

" To my sunshine,
I can't tell you how glad I am that we met. Your loving support has made me a better person. I've seen you at your worst and it really wasn't that bad! When making my plans for this evening, I'll first ask myself what you would do.
Most sincerely, XXX "

" To whom it may concern,
At least we have each other! All by myself... don't wanna be all by myself. I'm mostly just bummed that nobody will be giving me an adorable puppy wearing a red bow (hint, hint). If you need me, I'll be in the Honeymoon Suite at the Heartbreak Hotel.

Not sure how long this feature will be available till but it's great to have fun with it while it lasts.  Happy Valentine's Day.

Roses for Valentine

Valentine's Day for me every year is always a busy one.  Not with jewelry but with flowers!  Mum is a florist and every Valentine's day, I will always take time off from work to help her at the shop.  You would think after so many years I would know at least how to make a bouquet.  Unfortunately no, I always stick to the sales and delivery department.

This year, due to Baby A and having to just came back from work in January, I am unable to take leave during V-day.  Sorry mum!

Look What I Found!! - Featured Etsy Seller

Stumbled upon this Etsy seller when I was just checking out the latest Showcase last week. Her name is Merissa Cherie Hi'ilani Revestir from Hawaii and a proud owner of loveMER. She is the eldest of 5 children (big family like mine!). She is married and has a plant named Curtis (how cute!) She got to know about Etsy from her sister who also have a shop on Etsy.

What caught my eye about her items s is that she uses the chain to create words which is really different and creative! I love the way she uses the different colors of paper as the background which makes her items really pretty & sweet.

Here's one of my favorite, HEART a-blush necklace. Such a sweet name.. Perfect for the coming Valentine's Day.

Snagged a Treasury - Love is ALL AROUND

Snagged a treasury yesterday! This is my first treasury in 2009 (the first one that I snagged!) Given that it's Valentine's Day next month, I decided to do a Love theme treasury!

I love all the hearts that I have selected.... Here's 2 of my favorites.

   I have always love all the tiny heart bowls! They come in lots of colors.. plum, blue and yellow... And the most amazing thing is that the Plum Heart was sold the very day this treasury was listed!! *Hurray* I always feel excited and happy whenever the items I select in Treasury gets SOLD :)
2. Green Lovebug by adamsonglass
   This cute lovebug caught my eye when I was scouting for green hearts.. The color combination just make stunning and cute. I think it would look good on my computer monitor.. lol! Definitely a conversation starter or attention grabber!

Can't wait for my next Treasury! I hope everyone will like my picks!

New Namecards

I am so excited, I just placed an order for new name cards. I am halfway through my last box. With the name cards, I changed the colors a little to add a nice touch for the coming Valentine's Day. I can't wait to give them out! Will be collecting them tomorrow.. can't wait :D

Got some new design for the coming Valentine's Day too.. I know it's a bit early, but I am trying to motivate myself to come up with a new ideas for a collection in the new year.
