Treasury - Red Tulips are so Pretty

It's great to be included again in a Treasury. It's the 2nd time this week. God is good to me. *beam*. My Red tulips drops wAdd Imageere featured in Kugey's Red Tulips are so pretty treasury.

Here are some of my favorites.
  1. Beautiful Red Tulip Card by BedermannArt
I love the red tulip against the gray/black background. It really makes the photo pop! Also, it's a great change from the expect-able rose to the beautiful but less featured tulips.

  2. Abstract Rembrandt Tulip Original Drawing by ellemardesigns
This drawing did not capture my heart at first sight. However, as I look deeper into the picture, I noticed the intricate designs and patterns of the leaves & tulip flower. Gorgeous.

  3. RED Tulip Drops. Earrings by Piggy (that's me!)
Lastly my beautiful drop earrings that are available in 9 different colors. I love these Lucite flowers beads that are just fun and beautiful to work with.

Treasury - If You Like Black and Lilac

My first treasury (ok.. it's not really mine) in 2010! I am honored to me included in lunica's treasury called If You Like Black and Lilac. As its title explains, this treasury is a collection of items that are of both lilac & black. My beautiful Little Miss Francais Earrings were included! *happy*

Here's a selection of some of my favorites.
  1. Headband Fascinator by Starrbeads
Feathers & flowers.. how can you ever go wrong with this combination. Stunning headband that can be wore together with a LBD. Definitely a conversation starter.

  2. Little Miss Francais Earrings by Piggy (that's me!)
Always love Paris and always fascinated by the Eiffel Tower as it exudes the sense of romance and free-spirit. Unique lilac Eiffel Tower charm is matched with gunmetal silver ribbon & findings to make the cutest pair of earrings. Also available in a matching necklace.

2010 - A New Beginning

It's 2010! The new year dawns a new beginning for Piggy's Little Shop. I was just deep in thoughts in the cab on the way back home today from a hard day's work. What do I need to do more for my shop in 2010? Here's what I have come up with...
  1. Planning - More planning definitely required this year... past year has been more impromptu.
  2. Blog - Definitely blog more and setup a consistent and structured schedule (e.g. giveaways & finds)
  3. Marketing - explore other channels of marketing (e.g. cross & blogs) and come up with a marketing plan (campaigns & launches) by month.
  4. Consistent - revamp my name cards, banners, avatar, photos to have a consistent look.
Looking back 2009 has been a great year. I met my KPI for the year in terms of sales, setup my monthly newsletter and birthday promotions and did more research for the shop. Overall, I am happy with my progress and I am excited to kick start the new year.

So look out for exciting & latest activities from Piggy's Little Shop!

2009 - Top 3 Items

It's almost the end of the year. 2009 has been a great year for me in terms of my Etsy shop as well as my day job. It was also a great year for my family. Looking back, I decided to do a tabulation of the top 3 best selling items in my shop.

Counting down... At
#3 - Cute Birds in Chains. Earrings

This pair of earrings was a surprise for me as I thought the big hook ones will sell better. I love chain earrings and will definitely make more in the new year. Birds have been one of the hot items in 2009. Status: Available in brass, silver or gold.

#2 - Little Robot Love. Necklace

I love this little robot. There is some geeky-ness in this cute little thing that is just perfect for girls like me who loves computers and is in the technology industry. Status: Sold Out.

And... the #1 is...
#1 - Hedgehog. Necklace

This does not come as a surprise for me as who doesn't love hedgehogs?! They are simply adorable animals that are curls but feisty when provoked. Hmm.. doesn't that sound like some people we know (ourselves)? :) Status: Available with Limited Stock.

So do you agree with the results? :)

Alice Mini Series

I absolutely LOVE this mini series! This is the most whimsical, imaginative movie that I love since Labyrinth.
